SYLLABUS FOR XAT EXAMINATION

Altough XAT has made many changes in their exam pattern XAT syllabus has not much changed and so it can be looked at briefly. The topics for XAT examination are given below so that students can plan accordingly and set strategies.

Decision making

Decision making section is included in XAT. This section include 5-6 passages. Each contaning 2-3 questions. There is no particular syllabus for this section.

Quantative ability

This section has same syllabus as that of CAT. There are gardly any changes in both of them.

Verbal and logical ability

This section is a combination of the VARC section and LR section from the CAT Exam. In XAT 2020, there were 3 passages of Reading Comprehension with 12 Questions. The rest of the questions are dominated by the VA and LR questions. The topics which are generally tested in this section, apart from Reading Comprehension, includes -
