SYLLABUS FOR CMAT EXAMINATION

CMAT has syllabus almost same as CAT exam but CMAT also has additional general knowledge section that can probably scratch candidates head. NTA officially has not yet revealed the syllabus for CMAT 2021 exam.

key features of CMAT examination -

• CMAT over all exam is not as hard as CAT exam. CMAT also has some easy question running to tough questions via moderate questions.
• CMAT general knowledge section is bit hard as variety of questions are asked in this section.
• Each section in CMAT has equal weightage that is 25%
• Candidates generally dont run out of time in CMAT exam because of its slightly easy pattern.
• CMAT can be a high score exam for candidates.
• Candidates should try to maximize their attempts with maximum possible accuracy. SOLVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

CMAT general knowledge is quite tough as they ask variety of questions and also news never ends. For this section good knowlegde of current as well as static gk becomes important. Most of the questions are asked on static GK. If one has good knowledge and he/she loves to keep up with news they will find this section easier and definately take a lead in percentile. As recorded by many articles candidates loose much in this section. And even if having maximum amount of wrong answers they have good percentile in this section.

Some important points that CMAT aspirants should take into consideration

1. IMPORTANT - candidates are provided with a sheet where they can have their rough work done.
2. You can ask for more sheets if needed. The exam centre will provide you all the necessary stuff that you need.
3. Carring a government approved recognisation card is important
4. No electronic devices allowed.
